About
As a current PhD candidate at USM with a background in BSc Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, I offer high-level academic tutoring. I am an experienced tutor with a track record of teaching 30+ students from primary up to IGCSE, O-Level, and A-Level in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Additionally, my PTE Academic score of 90 (C2) qualifies me to teach English at an advanced level.
Why Hire Me?
Math and Physics (O-Level and A-Level) I start each lesson by asking what felt difficult since our last session. Then I explain one concept using a real example (e.g., a bouncing ball for energy, a graph for differentiation), solve one problem step by step, and have the student solve a similar one with light guidance. We end with two homework questions. This builds confidence through practice, not memorisation. Science and English (Standard 5–8) I keep lessons active and curiosity‑driven. For Science, I use everyday objects, such as a water glass for evaporation, and a shadow for light. For English, I use short prompts: a picture to write one paragraph, or a 30‑second speaking challenge. I ask, "Why do you think that happens?" instead of just telling. This helps younger students think independently and stay engaged.
